What's something that isn't considered embarrassing but you think it should be?

Credit where it's due, that second to last pitch was a thing of beauty

Every time I see PCA uselessly throw himself into the outfield wall I get annoyed all over again.

give the catcher 99 awareness rating in the next edition of Baseball Madden for knowing to stretch for the catch instead of make the tag

Trying to console the Dodger fans in my life after they ended up on the wrong side of a fluky double play
but hey, at this point in the last NLCS Game 1 between these two teams, Kershaw had already given up a home run to a reliever
So by that standard, things are looking up

I will never stop looking at this. A 404 foot GIDP. (This is correct, it is not a data error.)

My favorite part of that play is that Contreras didn't dare test the baseball Gods by throwing the ball to 3B. He was going to run that ball there himself to protect it from the chaos surrounding that moment in baseball time.

That insanity goes down officially as a grounded into double play, making it the only batted ball hit over 350 feet for a GIDP in the pitch tracking era (reg. + postseason).

Max Muncy grounded into a 404-foot double play.

when’s the last time a catcher got a putout at third base, let alone after having recorded a putout at home on the same play

Baseball really is the best sport because all it takes is one little bobble and suddenly a game built on routine and order devolves into panic and chaos

Love a sport where you can watch 100,000 games in your life and see something in a huge spot you've never ever seen before

(No really, I do love it)

My favorite part was Frelick obviously saying "What the fuck just happened???"

because same
cyrthogg.bsky.social
Oh. My. God.

Absolute chaos at American Family Field. Sal Frelick deflected a ball at the wall off the wall and back into his glove. The Dodgers on the bases thought he caught it. The Brewers ended up turning a double play on it.
