For the better part of a half-century, Notre Dame has insisted on playing by its own rules. Now that the Irish aren’t getting the special treatment they believe is their due, they’re throwing a tantrum.

Notre Dame football keeps whining because it didn't get special treatment from the College Football Playoff that it thinks it deserves.

It’s 2025 and women hockey players finally have an entire helmet-to-skate line made specifically for them. Kudos to CCM.
Line of their own: CCM makes equipment specifically for female players
Female hockey players have always had to make do with equipment made for boys, men. No more. CCM's JetSpeed FTW line made specifically for women

(Deleted previous because I had Paula and Nina mixed up)
Shiffrin moves up to a tie for fourth. Moltzan climbs to sixth with terrific second run, third-fastest.
Nina O’Brien DNFs.
Oh hello Nina O’Brien. In third after first run of GS in Tremblant, Quebec. Shiffrin is sixth and Paula Moltzan is 18th.
Up-and-comer Kjersti Moritz just misses the flip, finishing 34th and 0.27 from 30th.

Jordan Stolz does it again. Wins 500 in a track-record 33.90. That’s three races, three wins, three track records.
Also, Mia Manganello gets silver in mass start. Believe that qualifies her for Milano Cortina after she won in Salt Lake City

This is big: The finish moves Shiffrin back into the top 15 for the start list. Means she’ll be starting with rest of the best, rather than further down in order.
Wound up sixth.
Alice Robinson of New Zealand wins her second straight GS
Whooo boy. Shiffrin, starting 16th, is in third of first run of GS in Tremblant.

Stolz sets another TR, this time in the 1000. Equally impressive, his 1:06.48 was more than a second ahead of Germany’s Finn Sonnekalb.
Brittany Bowe just misses podium again in the 1500.
Jordan Stolz won the 1500 meters in Heerenveen on Friday PM, his 1:42.55 a track record.
Also, Brittany Bowe missed a medal in the 1000 meters by 0.09 seconds.

FIFA made up a peace prize to sooth Donald Trump’s bruised ego. Because there’s no way Trump is getting the one he craves.
Opinion: Trump doesn't deserve peace prize, even FIFA's fake one

Of course the games still have to be played. But the USMNT has to like its path out of Group D.

In a surprise to no one, FIFA awards its inaugural Peace Prize to Trump. What a joke. Everyone affiliated with FIFA ought to be embarrassed.

I mean, they are four-time WCup champs.
The USWNT brand is strong.
