And don't even get me started on SSRIs/SNRIs. Safe, sure. But:

"This may or may not work and there's no way of knowing, but you need to wait 6-8 weeks to find out. Oh, and it might get worse before then. But hey, one of them will work eventually!"

...that shouldn't be an acceptable treatment plan!

It's just so frustrating being afflicted with this...awful thing...and being told that the only medication that really works for me is one that should be avoided.

I get it, but I still wish they could develop a similar drug that didn't carry such risks for dependency. People are suffering out here.

I have been on 4 different SSRIs and BuSpar, all for persistent generalized anxiety, and it's now looking like an SNRI is in my near future.

None of these drugs have worked nearly as well as clonazepam has. I'm careful about taking it. Benzos get a bad rap but they CAN work if taken safely.

This is what they were like 20 years ago, when *I* was in college. It's the same shit being passed down. Social conservatism in the US is built on bigotry, and its lineage in this regard is built upon codified racism and religious nationalism. Republican politics today are a hate movement.

For me, my favorite non-Timberwolves team to watch were the Adelman Kings. No team has ever had a prettier half court offense
