#WeeknightWriters #FirstDraftFall I'm excited to write Gabby's POV, obviously, but I also feel excited to write Lena and Aidan. Even tho they're minor characters, they're the only romantic subplot. Not to mention, Lena is a complicated character.

#FantasyIndiesSpooktober The Duchess in My Ex is a Vampire has several minions: Portia, Roz, Gil, Dawson, a Victorian vampire, a Butler...
She really doesn't want to put in the effort to fight my heroes, so she sends her minions out to be cannon fodder instead.

Yep. Being a fairy, Susi is connected to nature and she has a green thumb as well as healing powers. Gabby is ADHD so she preferred reading comics over books without pictures growing up, although she loves Alice in Wonderland.

The best part is that since Susi is aro/ace and Ismail is a devout Muslim, they develop a legit friendship that never becomes romantic. Just two needs being awkward, solving a mystery together.

Nonviolent protest is powerful, in part because it can't easily be used by the propaganda arm of an authoritarian government. Of course authoritarians will lie about everything. They will say things are bad when things are not bad at all. But nonviolent protest still defies their lies.

I chose "Addicted to Love" for a chapter in Andy's POV cuz it kinda fits his mindset when he realizes he loves Jane.

#LateNightWrite I have a scene in My Ex is a Vampire. It's the vampire masquerade ball. There's a cybergoth band named Sapphomet performing cover songs. When the vampires start causing chaos, the band plays on. This is the song that plays.
