It’s used by tech companies to add “AI” features to existing products so they can demonstrate increasing daily active “AI” users, so they can get more leverage to invest in other tech companies, so that the value of their previous investments will increase.

If studios actually had to pay for those hundred hour work weeks, they would stop crunching.

People pay less for “fast fashion” made in sweatshops, so it’s weird to expect anyone to pay more for something specifically because it was made in sweatshop conditions.
Books and soccer balls should also cost $100. It’s unfair to give people alternative things to do with their time and money. A fishing rod should cost $100. Knitting needles should cost $100.
if you consider inflation over the last 500 years, the price of a book should be $100,000
