Misti has such an open and kind heart as a person and an editor. Before her editing business bloomed, she heard about my book and offered to do a free edit. She was new to the editing world, but it didn’t show. Her edits were so helpful. Even though she was mainly developmentally editing my story, she did a lot of line edits that I fell in love with. She can really rearrange your words to make them hit harder. My book is also highly controversial and the amount of kind words she put in her comments melted my heart many times. She also made me see things from a different angle, which helped me improve my story. Glad to hear a positive review about it! I haven't heard anyone's opinions yet but I absolutely love the covers of their books and am hoping to get to one of the ones I have soon. And hopefully find my second book b/c apparently it's not on my shelf. 😭

Whenever I’m on a trip, I like to visit an indie bookstore when given the opportunity! I got to go to Main Street Books in Minot today where I picked up What Stalks the Deep by @tkingfisher.com !
It was an absolutely lovely store 📚
