reading back over this thread feels like "duh" but the different ways we're all learning to see this shit in our lives needs to be mentioned at least
since coming out as nonbinary, i've gotten used to being ignored in queer discourse and discussion. i typically pass for cis and am in a straight-presenting relationship, so i've been comfortable in that privilege.
but i'm learning this invisibility puts me at great risk. it's kind of the point.

right now where i'm at with it is to be so queer it can't be erased. to be so loud i can't be ignored. or to use that invisibility to shield others. idk. but there are options other than tamping down who i am under the guise of safety.

broke down last night upon learning becca good is gnc. on top of not being able to criticize or witness these nazis brutalizing people without being murdered, the slain's family is bastardized/erased to be more palatable.
