Don Weise, LGBTQ+ publisher, writer, & advocate, passed away on Jan. 10. "We need gay publishers to help lead us toward enlightenment," he told Publishers Weekly. Miss Major, the LGBTQ+ rights activist who has been on the front lines since Stonewall, passed away yesterday. The impact of her resistance will not be forgotten. Read more in her memoir, "Miss Major Speaks: Conversations with a Black Trans Revolutionary," which won a Lammy in 2024.
