Thanks! I've heard good reasons for both choices. There's more ports and retranslations for Phantasy Star so there's more to talk about, but Mother is more popular I feel. But then again it might be good to get a good foundation before covering a game that has more eyes on it.

I have 2 different friends playing Silent Hill 2 for the first time and it is SO HARD for me to comment and discuss things about it with them and not spoil it.

Both versions of the game are so damn good.
