That’s not an accurate description of contrarianism. Also, the etymology of Aten doesn’t dictate the meaning of Atenism so it’s irrelevant. It’s also a different etymology than you have earlier.

Working backwards from conclusions isn’t always circular reasoning either. Plenty of valid mathematical proofs start with conclusions and work backwards. It’s also a common step in science. So long as you use it in a careful and logical manner, it’s fine.

Well, “fiction” is a modern concept so it will depend what you mean. But there’s definitely an understanding that there are stories for entertainment and which aren’t true.
