I’m confident this will be a blunder on their part. They underestimate how much effect pardoning GM will have; she’s undeniably guilty even in the minds of the most culted MAGAs. Pardoning her will open cracks they can’t close with their ham-handed lies.

Definitely seems like the "plan" is to pardon her before the House can vote to release the files. But the Senate will defeat it anyway? Always "delay" and then, when that can't work, preemptively release bad stuff with some distortion. But yeah, Trump's going to pardon the worst child rapist alive.

The MAIN STORY and especially the LEDE of every major news story on the Trump-Zelensky meeting SHOULD be how full of lies his comments were, and how he is obviously unwell.
