And he's gonna ball out in the USMNT group stage game in Seattle too...

Gonna be very funny come May/June when Sounders fans hit levels of "told you so" over Roldan that have rarely been seen. We're gonna need new gadgets to measure it.

This is a hilariously fun stat line
michaelcaley.bsky.social
Haji Wright's numbers at Coventry this season are hilarious, and exactly in line with what we've seen in this game

only touches the ball inside the penalty area, only shoots on goal when he touches the ball

why do anything else it's a simple game

Honestly don't know why I didn't make the connection between football, ancient Greek history and gay stuff before considering... *gestures at my interests*
lukebraunnfl.bsky.social
I wrote about Greek phalanxes and the philadelphia eagles. There’s gay stuff in it

For some reason, @lukebraunnfl.bsky.social went into the history — and prehistory — of the Tush Push. Where it comes from, how it works and why a Theban general from 371 BCE is relevant www.wideleft.football/p/pushing-tu...

my latest investigation for @consumerreports.org is based on months of reporting and 60+ lab tests of leading protein supplements

we found that most protein powders and shakes have more lead in one serving than our experts say is safe to have in a day (🧵)

Wrote something a little different during the break that I hope MLS PR considers, as national outlets keep decreasing coverage and now AI content is replacing writers. Someone had to say something before media access just gets worse. (Free post) www.patreon.com/posts/141166...

I want to see you an @alexkirshner.com do these film reviews together! I think it would be a great time for all.

Hey y'all, back again with more film review! The Luke McCaffrey TD was a bit of a complicated one, but I'm here to make football simple

So this baseball game is going to be extremely goofy, isn't it

If you still have Twitter the TAMUpolice account is gold during the games. Case in point dude had a water jug of whiskey and a BAC .337 how was he not dead?

The 48 team World Cup is an objectively terrible idea except for when nations like Cabo Verde are able to make it and that is extremely cool.
blazindw.bsky.social
Cabo Verde becomes the 2nd smallest nation by population to ever qualify for a #WorldCup. They win Group D in African #WCQ and will hear their names called in the World Cup draw on December 5th.

Teams that lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars historically have one of two reactions:
1) Reflect and correct (CAR, KC)
2) Kill themselves (HOU, SF)

The history of pre-lockout (and some post-lockout) NHL owners is absolutely bananas, and the Sabres were somehow awesome when they were owned by a fraudster compared to one of the richest men in North America!
dirtbagqueer.rocks
the sabres were an extremely consistent team for 40 fucking years. and that included the 2000s (when the team was literally bankrupt and couldn’t find an owner. it won the presidents trophy under these conditions!!!!)
mattsmusings1.bsky.social
The tragedy of the Buffalo Sabres is not explored enough because it's hockey but this somehow understates how hopeless that situation has become and it's depressing. Buffalo is an elite hockey market! Those games would be insane if they were ever good!

this graph’s going around on twitter. it stopped me dead in my tracks. i am going to punch something
mattsmusings1.bsky.social
I'm rooting for him. Just got blocked by being in the Panthers system at the wrong time but he has the possibility to become an extremely annoying (complimentary) middle six winger and those are invaluable in modern hockey.
jakenazar.bsky.social
The price they paid for him you’d eventually like some scoring punch but I’ve liked Sourdif’s game a lot so far
