The BBC are accidentally running the subtitles to Mrs Marple over the Mercury Prize, and it’s rather wonderful. A few of lines could plausibly have been written by Jarvis.

We were so impressed by all of the entries, but On the Time Lash declares Billie IPA (pronounced eye-pah) the official beer of Doctor Who's new Wilderness Years!

Here is a v sharable and relatable poem that I wrote about how Thing Were Better In The Old Days
Sceenshot of a poem. It reads

You kids today, with 'net and games I fought in World War 2 You're not content with airfix planes, I fought in World War 2 In my day (nineteen ninety three), We didn't have what's yours Things were simpler, much less woke, I fought in both World Wars. School lunches, Oh! Pink custard too, Four channels on TV Not like the iphones you have now, Was simpler then, you see? "Image Macros" were all the rage, There was no twitch tv I fought in World War 2, respect The man who's forty three
Locked myself out this evening so I thought I'd catch a film. The only thing about to start was Tron: Ares, so I'll happily just sit on my front step for three hours instead.

The year is 2040. A deceased Jeff Bridges brought to life via AI stars this summer in "Tron: Requiem" scored by The Prodigy. Nobody sees it.

The year is 2055. A 3D printed robot Jeff Bridges stars this summer in "Tron: NEXUS" scored by a 10-year old TikToker from Argentina. Nobody sees it.

So like this is funnier and more offensive than anything anyone else said about Kirk that got them fired
Trump at the Charlie Kirk memorial event: "They fired sniper rifles at ICE agents, and me. But I made a turn at a good time. I made a turn at a good time. Charlie couldn't believe it, actually."

RIP Drew Struzan - a man whose talent and imagination etched onto so many minds throughout the last 40+ years.

His art & posters are some of the first visuals I think of when I think about cinema - an invitation to watch these stories and worlds.

A massive loss 💔
Amy will be glad to hear it's not just her

The Chair Company feels so close to my personal comedy tastes I worry no-one else will watch, but you should and must. Tim Robinson is the most excellent clown of realism.

Trump can’t help himself from fucking up what should have been an easy win
Trump calls on the Israeli President to pardon Benjamin Netanyahu:

"Cigars and champagne - who the hell cares about it?"

Netanyahu is currently on trial for bribery, fraud, and breach of trust, including allegedly accepting 700,000 shekels (approx. $210,000) worth of luxury goods in bribes.
Episode one of The Chair Company was very much my jam. An anxiety dream of a thriller rooted in fragile masculinity and our inability to move on from public embarrassment.

A shadow realm below London populated by the quirky/gothic character actors who'd have been a dream cast list for #DoctorWho Season 32 in 1996, one in particular seems an obvious Doctor-to-be. Also, Peter Capaldi! It's #Neverwhere

I've got a lot of time for Martin Compston but "Hollywood actor" is a bit strong
