Former child, potential corpse/immortal. I could procrastinate during an air crash. There's going to be a lot of old Dr Who and Blake's 7 and all that here. Occasional cats and alt-pop.

Pluribus ep 5 was my favourite yet. Like one of *those* eps of Better Call Saul. Mostly a solo character study, Rhea Seahorn showing thought processes and the grieving process, as all the while the script toys with us and raises the tension because *it* knows exactly what we're thinking.

From the mid 00s Danny Dyer carved his a career as the lad's football gangster dealer etc, so somebody reissued 2000's Borstal Boy ("in the tradition of Maurice") where he's a teenager running the Borstal theatre club with a crush on the main character, using this 'Deadliest Men' era pic of him.

I'm say one thing for Rachel Reeves, she pronounces "madame" deputy speaker like she's hosting The Good Old Days, as everyone should.

That person in a meeting who can be relied upon to weigh in with a suggestion about something you're doing that A: would not work and B: eats up more of your time as you have to dig into an explanation of why it wouldn't work instead of just getting on with what you were doing.

Extremely underrated melancholy ballad. "To resolve your love for this man in his 20s" is a different line when you're 18.

His lengthy resignation statement concluded "...like an amber chariot towards the ebony void of infinite space, wherein the tethered belts of Jupiter and Mars hang, for ever festooned in their orbital majesty - and as I looked at all this I thought... I must put a roof on this toilet."

Stares and blinks in Eurovision Fan at the absolute faith people are placing in X's ability to infer a country of origin for SIM card users, particularly in war zones.
As is usual for 2020s it's presented as "They are definitely here. (The previous sentence may contain inaccuracies.)"

On #DoctorWhoDay 2015 I set out on my annual mission to watch every episode. So this year, it's The Rescue! (Not The Story The Rescue The Last Ep Of The Daleks AKA The Dead Planet 7). Thank god they've got out those caves they've been in for 3 years, and for some reason the Daleks all died. Hooray!

As Roberts is live on-air, the phone on the desk in front of him rings, with new information from the newsroom. He picks it up. Ariel later relays what happens:

"Viewers saw him change countenance and heard him say: 'We regret to announce that President Kennedy is dead'."

As well as tracking crime numbers I think we should be given data on the proportion that involve high jinks and/or capersome elements. The criminal fraternity could do a lot to improve their image by steering things in this direction.

We arre in a world where "Googling" is the gold standard for researching.

Yes we are.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.
