“A reminder that Justin Trudeau left office with an approval rating of 47% — 11 points higher than that of Pierre Poilievre. His leadership and opposition to Trump in his final months more than doubled his approval rating. Poilievre’s favourability, on the other hand, remains consistently poor.”

Nice to hear but I doubt anything will happen as a result.
The Senate voted 50–46 tonight to block Trump’s tariffs on Canada, and yesterday it voted to block his tariffs on Brazil. Now we need the house to vote. Where’s the House? Is Johnson still guarding the Epstein files?

Why is Canada having financial troubles?
This right here is part of the reason.
This is not a Liberal problem or a Federal problem, this happens at every level of government and under every party.

Well guys, it’s been awhile since we had to grasp the concept that we could blink and everything goes away. Got a little spooky in the 80’s but now I guess we're going full-tilt.

She’s a hypocrite and a coward!
Remember when Danielle Smith condemned the "arrogance" of a government for passing laws in a matter of days?

Now she's rammed through a law stripping teachers' charter rights in a single day.

Seems the "democratic process" no longer matters to her now that she's in power.

It means most people are fine with the conditions Albertas's children are forced to endure in order to get some sort of an education. Their teachers tried to get the province to do something, and the UCP responded with "stfu and sit down because we don't care." #ableg
Alberta is the wealthiest province in Confederation, but you'd never know that by looking at the way it funds its public schools and their students. At some point, voters might want to think about what that says — and means — @maxfawcett.bsky.social writes.
Alberta is the richest province in the country — except where it really counts
How does the province with the highest fiscal capacity in the country also have the lowest per-capita funding for students in its public schools? Because it wants it that way
