Same ICE crew that kidnapped the clarinet player from the brass band. Sunday night. Still no charges and not clear where the mother of a 3 year old is. She was knocked down while ICE pursured someone else and they felt it easier to take away a female clarinet player.

ICE arrested comedian Robby Roadsteamer for singing a parody of Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” in a Jeffrey Epstein the Giraffe costume outside their facility.

He sings “If you hate brown people / and you are a Nazi” and ICE thugs grab him and drag him into detention. No violence—just speech.

Like trust in our systems has gone down, precisely *because* we’ve more people than ever present in the conversation abt our society’s issues. The info sharing I do here and elsewhere I like to hope is part of repairing the damage caused by this change, I’m glad you’ve gotten something out of it ☺️

Eliot higgins touches on this when he talks about “disorganized counterpublics“ I think, it might be my recency bias around the change in the info environment caused by the web but this also smacks of that, where our systems had many problems but now that people are discussing it a lot it seems
