So there were some AI-generated videos that purported to show Black women ranting about SNAP benefits, and... Fox News is reporting on this like these are real people. They're not! They're AI!

This is truly insane. Total unreality. www.foxnews.com/media/snap-b...

Got Sammy to sit still for approximately 10 seconds to get a pic of his costume.
Rogers Centre genuinely might be more full than Dodgers Stadium right now
WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

Guerrero Jr. hits his eighth home run of the postseason.

Three pitches, two home runs for the Blue Jays to make it 2-0.

BEDLAM AT ROGERS CENTRE.
Fortunately for Dodgers fans, half of them haven't managed to show up in time to see this.
And to be clear, having a Nazi tattoo is disqualifying even if you check every other box. But I've seen a lot of people condemning the tattoo while arguing that he's still the lesser evil, and I really don't see how you can state that with any confidence.
A good candidate is some combination of a) good platform, b) good ideas to execute platform, c) character to be who they claim to be.

C is the the hardest to assess. There are so many wolves in sheep's clothing. But a good place to start: don't elect wolves with the most half-assed sheep costumes.
Platner has all of the Fetterman red flags and so many more. Frustrating to see defenses of him saying "despite everything else, I still like his platform more." He is under no obligation to follow through with any of that shit if elected! From what we've learned of him, he can't be trusted.

Tyrese: "Number three pick, and you got adidas on your chest, they're gonna make sure you're alright"

i don’t think there’s another clip that i’ve enjoyed as much that didn’t involve someone getting hit in the groin

Wanting to know something about the world in which you live? That’s classic leftist behavior brother.

What exactly is leftist about African studies? Or does leftist serve as a stand-in for … something else.

a lot of political “scandal” coverage is just the media making a decision about whether public opinion needs a corrective

this has to be coupled with the things that *don’t* count as a scandal: an array of harassment allegations, covering up Covid deaths, staying in a race after losing the primary, etc.
i cannot believe that “mamdani calls a close adult relative an ‘aunt’ even if they are not literally their parent’s sister” is what counts as a “scandal” these days
My main BlueSky gripe is that politics people are largely incapable of having insightful thoughts about sports, movies, etc. It's painful.

It's not a "stay in your lane" thing because the inverse doesn't apply. Plenty of sports people with good political takes. Politics are just simpler.

This is so good. So inspired by Coates. Particularly to see a guy with such a huge brain leading with his heart.

I've built a socioeconomic system that depends on everyone to do useful work and act ethically except the people at the top, who get unimaginable rewards for being antisocial frauds and criminals. And I think it will stand the test of time

It says a lot that I can't even be mad at that.
This tweet is now an hour old and we're still going!

one-out popups with runners in scoring position are unfortunate, but if you hit one at least 50 feet high you are awarded 100 in-game credits that can be spent on sunflower seeds or gum in the dugout shop. that explains most of these
