It's not just pay. I have a good friend who was a midwife in the mid-Lothian area for years before she and her husband moved to Canada. She worked here, loved midwifery here. Moved back to Edinburgh when she became a grandmother. Thought she would work some "bank hours" because she loved midwifery 1

The midwives will work a year, get burned out beyond belief by the havoc the Conservatives wreaked on the NHS, come to Canada, get "bridged in" and make a ton more money than they do in the UK. Sadly

God, we are "watching" on the UK ESPN feed, which is up to date (as far as we can tell) but kinda lacks the thrill of the crowd. Only time weirder was watching the Raps win the LO'B while in Reykjavik on a PPV feed from NBA.
