Sometimes I think I am crazy cuz like if Long Covid is there to highlight every preexisting condition you have like do people with undiagnosed CFS or Fibromyalgia just think they're stuck with an especially bad case of Long Covid

I support assisted dying and believe people should have autonomy when it comes to how they die.

What I don’t support is it being proactively “offered” to disabled and poor people.

I don’t support it being suggested in lieu of treatment.

It was offered to me & I found it traumatizing.

My condition was treatable. It has no known cure, but a lot could be done to improve quality of life.

I had given no indication I wanted to die and had it suggested anyways.

When someone you go to for help suggests death, it’s emotionally devastating.

We need more safeguards for disabled people

Not to be cringe, but I'm surprised I am emotional seeing the East Wing demolition. My first job in DC was interning and going to meetings there regularly. I learned everything about it while giving guided tours. The beauty of the East Wing is that everyone can go there. It's America's house.

Influenza is at a moderate level of activity. COVID-19 is at a low level of activity. RSV is at a low level of activity.

Summary
Influenza is decreasing but remains at a moderate level of activity. This is higher than expected for October. COVID19 is stable at a low level of activity. RSV continues to decrease and is at a low level of activity. Influenza vaccinations are important at this time, especially for people who are at risk of severe disease.

Notifications of COVID-19, influenza and RSV

Notification data is obtained from laboratory tests for infections. This indicator provides information about community infection.

Interpretation: In the past week there was a decrease of 3.1% in COVID-19 notifications, a decrease of 3.2% in influenza notifications, and a decrease of 2.4% in RSV notifications.

NSW Sentinel Laboratory Network

The NSW Sentinel Laboratory Network comprises of 12 public and private laboratories throughout NSW who provide additional data on positive and negative test results. changes between weeks (Tables 2 and 3).

Interpretation: In the last week COVID-19 test positivity decreased to 2.4%. Influenza test positivity decreased to 8.9%. RSV test positivity remained stable at 1.5%.

I actively hated lockdowns, cried my way through them and felt I was neglecting my children while they were stuck at home and I tried to work. Would have that again forever, compared to what I have now, which is two chronically ill children with long covid who can’t function.
