The end of federal enforcement of special ed laws. Some states - including MN - will likely be ok. But a lot of disabled kids in a lot of states are going to lose the education that federal law and decades of jurisprudence say they are owed.

I don’t really understand the people who think we shouldn’t situate the current moment in context of the last 25 years in American politics, including the actions of the three Democrats who were president during that time

The United States has never needed to be "controlled" to do genocide.

The United States isn't an uwu smol bean empire with an uwu smol bean Pentagon and uwu smol bean world's largest carceral state. We're directly responsible for genocides against multiple Indigenous nations,

hey @nytimes.com: there is no counterpoint here. There are no credible legal experts who would EVER say that the US military has any right or authority to blow civilian craft out of the Caribbean and kill their crews from afar without any provocation. There is no other side to this question.
"Some legal experts have called it a crime to summarily kill civilians not directly taking part in hostilities, even if they are believed to be smuggling drugs."

Uh, the man operating as President of the United States has illegally deployed the military into another US city with the intention of provoking dissent that will be met with lethal violence, and you want to negotiate with the people who think this is fine? What the fuck is wrong with you?
Republicans are fine with increasing your health care costs.

They’re also fine with shutting down the government.

Democrats want to prevent both of these things. Republicans should join us at the negotiating table.
LOL how precious.
I think it's really cute that a government official thinks that any history is "settled" and "final" just by tweeting about it. Bless your heart.
tweet from the account "Secretary of War Pete Hegseth @SecWar." The text reads: “Under my direction, the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Wounded Knee will keep their medals. This decision is final. Their place in history is settled.” Below the tweet text is a paused video showing Pete Hegseth in a suit and tie speaking against a backdrop featuring the U.S. flag and two large Medal of Honor insignias.

The effort to paint Charlie Kirk as some sort of model for practicing politics and a beloved figure across the spectrum is bizarre.

Just a month ago, South Park was mocking him pretty mercilessly.
All violence is political violence.
