What's even more ironic its who A LOT of people on Twitter were making post like "we gotta make sure that [VA name] is safe", "Somebody make sure to look after [VAs name]" or "Shout out to [VAs name] for their bravery", as if someone was gonna sendero hitman to them.

But when voice actors are celebrating one of their own releasing a song telling their disabled colleague to “shut the fuck up” and then suddenly behave like those discord screencaps were controversial?

I said it before and i'll say it again that hole "healing" BS was the weakest PR move i have seen in a while.
It was like "Yeah we took every opportunity to slander you, make you look petty and entitled, but our wallets were getting too light so WE were the real victims".

A lot of actors didn't want to talk about it. That's valid.

Certain actors didn't want any criticism being aimed at them. That's less so.

That whole industry is so used to anonymity and lack of consequence that it genuinely seems unfair when accountability and conversation happen around them.

I became very disappointed by the behavior of certain voice actors who then preached we need "healing" for the community. Like y'all were the ones who divided it to begin with by trying to force the strike to end when the majority voted to continue!

I'm not like a lot of other people in that conversation. I'm not in discord servers with other VAs. I'm not going from person to person trying to establish a narrative.

I'm an individual who in that scenario was trying to provide information to people who were begging for anything resembling that.

One thing I did learn during the VA strike was that a particular voice actor was screencapping things I was posting and sharing them privately to other VAs to be like "can you believe this?"

And hey, to that person I say:

In a situation where dialogue could have helped, you instead chose gossip.
