this is such a painful discussion to read bc while I definitely can’t blame Black advocates for being extremely skeptical of anything the city does, I l’m also pretty sure that the reason why new units are priced so high is bc what little development we have isn’t enough to meet the need 🥴

this is a really fantastic and honest piece about cohousing and shared governance! i’m sharing bc i’ve had at least one conversation before w an LGBTQ person in Baltimroe about their dream of doing something similar, although they were concerned about potentially triggering fair housing issues
