Inspired by @unfortunatalie.bsky.social and her lovely soup photos I made minestrone, but I put Halloween pasta in it for whimsy 👻
I have long accepted that I am wrong about everything, and it has made life a lot more peaceful

There's nothing more freeing than the sentence "I'm not smart enough to have an opinion on that" and then leaving the conversation
I think its genuinely a virtue to accept that you could be wrong about anything and kill the part of yourself that needs to always be seen as correct and smarter than others on any given topic
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?
Finally watching 28 Years Later and fuck me this is *bleak*
You know what, I didn’t really get it, but now I definitely do 🥵
in 20 years, the most extreme, reactionary, "return to tradition" masculinity influencer is going to adopt this uniform and you'll have to calmly explain that this was once considered non-traditional
Finally got husbeast to sit down long enough to watch some more Wednesday S2.

Quite frankly, giving Luis Guzmán the line about white American appropriation might be the high point of the entire show

Something I think about a lot: One of the reasons people used to think boys “outgrew” ADHD is because in adulthood men tend to offload their executive function (managing calendars, remembering birthdays, cleaning, grocery shopping) to wives and secretaries so it masked their symptoms.

Important! but content warning for Veery Skeery
a very spooky tutorial
Talk about personally identifiable information 🤣 as someone who redacts data for a living this is *embarrassing*
Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."
Am I allowed to be salty about all the Monster High fans who have never even seen Alien immediately sniping the Alien Skullector Doll rather than us actual Alien fans managing to get one
Settled in to rewatch Alien: Earth because

a) it's good and
b) my lust for Kirsh remains undiminshed (the discovery that that black rollneck is sleeveless made me feral honestly)

Fish need twice as much space as people think they do, honestly.
Rabbits should not be pets. People do not understand how to care for them.

Correct (although I would also accept a Baneblade in a pinch)
Of course women don't like the Cybertruck.

Women only want one thing, and it's the Immolator pattern armoured assault transport.

Gonna start loading up all the Mr Blobby in films I did. One a day. Starting with Mr Blobby in the Matrix.
The BM are hardly a paragon of virtue but it stands to reason that the Roman occupation of Britain (43-410 CE-ish?) might have left some cultural artefacts behind, like
Did they stumble into Room 49 (the Weston Gallery) and not understand the words Roman Britain or something
yeah I can't think of a reason roman artifacts would be in britain
