The likelihood that the DSCC was involved in this hit piece being published is not zero, which I say as someone who worked comms for a non-establishment Democratic congressional candidate and had to resign because the DCCC planted a similar hit piece on me in our local paper to hurt the candidate.

I really hate that the "we need to get weirder and make weirder art!!!" got adopted by people who morally panic over a pup hood being worn at pride/furry convention and or harass artists offline for...making weird art?

No. As a general rule, I reserve top third for type and the publisher handles the rest. We dedicated a newsletter to the topic recently if you'd like a more detail on that:

Generally yes, but don't think this time. Been doing the work of 1.7 people these last few weeks, and think I'm gonna make the call for today.

The sad thing is that it's generally not even a money thing, it's just stubbornness. Same with the AC.

Taking applications for people to do hag stuff with.

Comic cred: cassandracalin.tumblr.com
Comic by https://cassandracalin.tumblr.com

Comic features a person who receives a text asking to hag out but was a typo to hang out. Person replies no let’s actually hag out and the final panel shows two people dressed like witches (hags)mixing things into a cauldron.
Happiest of Birthdays, Roxi!
Me: You know, I read Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, most of his short stories, but I never read Twain's "Connecticut Yankee" as a kid. Saw plenty of media derived from it, though.

Chapter 7: So, this is why the Catholic Church is evil.

Me: Aaaaah. There we go. Good on you, Clements.
Listening to Nick Offerman reading "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"

"It's been three days, and these people have never heard of coffee, tea, or tobacco."

Me: oh God, the DTs would be horrible.
"Bring your child to work day" going horribly wrong.
Had a Jackfruit BBQ sandwich that was heavenly.

Who gives a fuck what the public urinal said? With the power of hindsight, we can now determine that Reagan and Thatcher’s economic policies have been unmitigated disasters for the vast majority of their citizens.
MCCALLUM: “Margaret Thatcher said socialism’s great until you run out of other people’s money.”

🔥ZOHRAN: “Cuomo had $900 million and gave it to Elon musk in tax credits— I wish the debate were like NASCAR so people could see logos of billionaires who sponsor him on his jacket.”

The problem with vegetarian options where I live is that 90% of them are super phoned-in. Seriously, most of them are just some shredded carrots in a tortilla that hasn't been seasoned, nor cooked, nor sauced.
As a carnivore that tries their best to accommodate their veggie friends and lovers, you're damned right on that.

Restaurants, there is more to vegetarian than salad, cheese, and tofu.

That said, have been to steak joints that do a mean portobello burger.

Years of scientific studies have shown that these are the different types of yeens there are. Both Triangle Ones and Raisins can be more wimpish or wompa.

A wimpy-wompa is a perfect in-between.
There might be ones that fall outside of this spectrum, expect more info from respected sources soon.
Scientific chart of the hyena (yeen) spectrum. From wimpy to wompa. Theres also raisins and triangle ones.

Yes your taxes should support disabled people.

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.
Arriving to the battlefield in your pee-stained colours.
A coat of arms has to be impressive, full of symbolism, it's important, it represents an powerful family or person, so you have to think long and hard about its design and take it very seriously.

Or just put some underpants on it.
Like Lord Jan van Abbenbroeck did;
Stan Sakai rarely was one to sugar coat things.
Jeez, this Usagi Yojimbo story I'm reading, about how those in power sought to pervert the teachings of the Bible to further their propaganda, feels frighteningly on-point.
