I think what's bothering me about all these statements I'm seeing from politicians that are variations of "Israeli hostages and Palestinians are returning to their homes, yay" is that Israelis are returning to their homes and Palestinians are returning to uninhabitable post apocalyptic rubble.

I can acknowledge that there are some good mental, social & political observations that I generally vibe with while also recognizing the writer being deranged and unhinged

brother really decided to write "i can fix him"
When we view other people as utterly separate, mono-mind beings, it’s
hard not to totalize them. We objectify them as a narcissist, psychopath, or
racist, and miss the opportunity to connect with other parts of them. When
we solidify somebody in a particular way without paying attention to their
inner system of exiles and protectors, it’s much, much harder to keep our
heart open and act toward them in an effective way.
At the time of this writing, our president, Donald Trump, is an example
of that for me. Some of my protectors can totalize him and see him as one
of those diagnostic categories. And if I had the opportunity to meet him, mygoal would likely be to shame him into changing, which—because of the
way he reacts to attempts to shame him—would totally backfire. But I
could do something different entirely. If instead I adopted the perspective of
multiplicity inherent in IFS, then I could see behind his protectors and know
that they’re just trying to keep him safe and make him feel better. They
themselves are trying to deal with the exiles in him that make him feel so
worthless, and no doubt they are all stuck in horrible places in his
childhood. This different approach is like good parenting too—I can have
compassion for the man while still feeling upset at the damage his
protectors are doing and working to stop them.

With certain kinds of meditation, you can also enter into the nondual
state—that boundaryless experience of oneness in which you lose a sense of
being separate and meld with something oceanic. I’ve had personal
experience with this state both in meditation and with the psychedelic
ketamine, and it’s always profound. I return with a greater sense of there
being much more to the universe than our senses allow us to experience, as
well as increased compassion for how difficult this Earth plane can be,
coupled with a commitment to make it better.
Quantum physics tells us that a photon is both a particle and a wave. I
believe the same is true for the Self. Most of the time we experience Self in
its particle state—we feel some degree of connectedness to others and
SELF while also sensing that we are separate entities with boundaries and
individual agency. Through meditation or psychedelics, however, we can
lose those boundaries and enter the wave state—we become part of the
much larger field of Self (SELF) in a way that feels numinous.

having no previous experience i feel like this is definitely cult recruitment coded material even though the structure and framing is useful for visualizing graphs of emotions and their origins

If we think of the Earth as a living system or being—as Gaia—then the
COVID-19 pandemic could be seen as part of a stabilizing feedback loop.
For 99 percent of human history, the human species has not been a dire
threat to the health of the planet. Starting with the Industrial Revolution, the
world’s human population—and its ability to exploit the planet’s resources
—has exploded in the last two centuries. Since the late 1880s, we’ve been
riding on different runaway reinforcing feedback loops, and because
they’ve improved the lives of most people in tangible ways, we’ve becomeconvinced of the myth of the march of progress. Unfortunately, the march
hasn’t been so progressive for the rest of the planet.
We’ve lost our ability to feel the Earth viscerally.
Through our extractive, exiling, and disconnecting attitudes and
behaviors, we’ve lost our ability to feel the Earth viscerally. Our receptors
are numbed to the feedback the Earth has been offering us for decades,
telling us time and again that she isn’t happy or healthy. It’s not that she
hasn’t informed us—there have been plenty of signs. It’s that the striving,
coercive parts that came to dominate much of our species have been too
focused on financial and material gain to heed those signs. We stopped
caring about the Earth and instead viewed her as a set of resources to be
used however we wanted. But there are consequences to this.

When @aceottorney.bsky.social first told me about this I said "this could change people's lives and stop developers from getting exploited" and having seen the final resource, I think I was not wrong. I'd call it a must-bookmark for indie devs.
