hm ich glaube deine Infos sind veraltet, post TSG hab ich nur noch eine Indikation für die Mastek gebraucht. 18 Monate HRT musste ich für die Mastek auch nehmen, aber nur damit die Fettumverteilung bis dahin abgeschlossen war

Der Alltagstest und Inter Ausschluss waren genau genommen freiwillig

Universities DO need to keep on passing on information while ALSO teaching critical thinking.

ChatGPT may have all the facts but if you've never heard them before or never truly understood them, how can you be expected to work with that?

learning isn't "aquiring facts", it's internalizing facts, actually understanding them, practising, making mistakes and learning why they are mistakes.

Yes you can just take a dictionary and a grammar guide to do your English test but does that mean you speak English now?

also, unless you train AI on copyrighted information that is not free use (illegally), AI should only have access to the information already available ln the internet for free.

Universities haven't been gatekeeping the information necessary for a degree. They exist to point you in the right direction, to answer questions, to help you learn.

Wikipedia already existed before AI. So did libraries.
AI hasn't revolutionized the availability of information.

Of course you can just self-study, take the exams and be done with it, but most students either don't want that or learn better with a real human there to help and explain.

I've ranted about this before but once again:

I hate that when taking notes in lectures I have to
a) write by hand (exhausting, need to digitize my notes later anyway, slow)
b) write on my laptop (it's big and heavy and it needs access to an outlet)
c) write on my phone (makes me look distracted

only after finishing high school did I realize how much I ABHOR writing by hand.

It's exhausting, I'm slow, I can never get it looking neat and I will not find that particular note to refresh my memory with ever again.
