I don’t think it’s good for a US president to pardon a convicted money launderer who is enriching the president personally via cryptocurrency. That seems pretty corrupt to me, and I think corruption is bad.

If you don’t think all these events are being coordinated you haven’t been paying attention. The distractions are used to hide the grift and corruption. Trump knows what’s catnip in the media ecosystem. Frivolous stuff that doesn’t affect any normal person. Easy way to obscure what’s going on.

Also notable that a crypto billionaire scammer gets pardoned on the same day the NBA scandal drops. And it just so happens the former head of Binance was integral in making Trump billions from crypto. Talk about corruption. I bet he pardons Ghislaine Maxwell the same way. During a sports scandal.

My take on today’s NBA gambling scandal: Trump wanted a headline that wasn’t “East Wing of WH torn down” and viola a distraction for corporate media to consume. Can’t be a coincidence. Part of the scandal doesn’t even involve the NBA directly. It involved a poker mafia scam. Not game related.
