Next time a Republican claims this is a “Democrat Shutdown,” they should be reminded that Russell Vought, the president’s top budget adviser, encouraged the GOP in Congress to shut down the government because it’s easier to dismantle the government when it is closed. He's on record liking shutdowns.

Keep in mind, the suffering will only get worse until the new house is sworn in. Yes, trump is not likely to make it that long. All his obvious mental and physical ailments are catching up to him. But those around him won't release power even after he does.

Understand it likely won't be free or fair. Massive efforts are already under way to cheat and steal the election again, as the right did in 2024 with Elon.

There will be voter role purges, intimidation, voter id requirements. Not just the gerrymandering they're doing now.

People have been hoping someone would swoop in and save us since trump season 1. The courts will stop him, Mueller will stop him. Someone surely will say this has gone too far.

There is no one. No one commands men and women with guns that can come and impose accountability.

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

Obviously California has issues but this defense of their policies by Newsom is worth watching.

TN is a low tax state - for the top. regressive for the bottom. our services and laws punish working people also (bottom in infant & maternal mortality, poverty, school spending, violent crime, etc..)

Someone working on behalf of ICE abused her.

She spoke out and was kicked out of the country.
