- bombed Gaza City
- bombed Khan Younis
- shot and killed five Palestinians in Gaza City
- refused to open the Rafah border crossing
- announced they would once more block aid

This is what a "ceasefire" with Israel looks like. This is what it has always looked like.

And certainly when my kids did NCEA approx 10-15 yrs ago, they went on study leave a week or so before exams started (as we did) and didn't really have any teacher contact in the days leading up to and during final exams.

Don't know if it's changed, but back in the dim distant past when I did School C/Bursary, all of the invigilators where casual hires by the Ministery of Ed for the exam season, who may have been former teachers. But none of our teachers invigilated our exams.

No Ms Stanford, parents should be furious at a govt & a minister who continually under-resource, undermine & undervalue teaching professionals, & having received a 10% MP pay rise refuses to countenance a rise for teachers that even keeps pace with inflation. #nzpol
