I agree on the non-zero attempt at 12-2 because NC is a gerrymandering OG but I'm not sure they can get there without opening themselves up to racial arguments. Besides Trump demands fealty, not results, which trying for 1 more seat should demonstrate for Berger

A) NC is already extremely gerrymandered, from 7-7 in 2022 to 11-3 if this goes as they hope
B) This is Phil Berger's attempt to win Big Orange's favor as Berger is in a bitter primary fight against a MAGA challenger

Haven't seen it reported yet and this is obviously unconfirmed but someone working at the hospital told me the victim is a young boy and that police locked down the hospital afraid he was coming up there to look for the victim. Horrible stuff.

You'll laugh when I say this, but I knew that from "Law & Order" reruns. Most of the murders on that show were charged as second degree because first is charged only in certain circumstances.

It's also because of that show that I know superior court is called "supreme court" in NY.
