A coworker, seeing me read a book on my tablet, asked what I'm reading. But it'd be far too weird to say "It's a novelization of a Doctor Who audioplay that was later loosely adapted into an episode of the revived TV series and has itself already been novelized," so I just said, "nerd book."

my husband and i have a friend we’ve known since high school and we have always called him the nickname he introduced himself as on the first day of 11th grade

Might need to wait a bit on Liz. I don't understand the details because I'm not a landlord, but I know whatever she did is why we got evicted, and it's why some friends got evicted, and the trauma of that did some big things to us and we were among the ones who landed feet-first. It'll have a tail.

I already believed Dr Demento was a real person/show, but it had the air of being a fictional thing from a cartoon, like Reptar or something
