Honestly aside from the minor element at the end of the instructions it's an absolute joy to be able to buy spare parts that come with all the tools required in the kit, and screw holders built into the box etc. A top teir experience.

One iFixit kit, a repair, a second repair (turns out you replace a ribbon cable and the instruction for that is on the product page not instructions so minor ding for iFixit) and hey presto a working Steamdeck.

It is very good that Discord seemingly built their initial game list from games/apps that show up in their activity feed and somehow pulled the box art for Dolphin for the 2600 when everyone is actually running Dolphin the Emulator. I hope they never change it.

What's really galling is that teacher resources on stuff like this already exists. UN tends to have loads of free resources on stuff like this, or twinkl etc. There's no need to get AI to shit something out that already exists (in higher quality!)

My cats hair got into a DIY calculator I made the other week and I'm pretty sure is sealed in my Steamdeck repair too. It's a magical material.
But yeah anything "gritty" and abrasive (salt especially would be terrible).

It's torture watching some of Jerry Rigs stress tests. Watched one and it obviously had sensors in as it was pleading to stop (well, giving a "don't bend me like this" notification)

Yup, surely better integration would require a below gcse level grasp of English? Surely if migrants have better elocution and higher pay (also a requirement) it sets them apart.

Game has sold quite well on Steam. I've got almost £90,000 ready to withdraw after Steam's cut + VAT taken off. However, it's been 2 months now and I can't find ANY bank in the UK who will let me withdraw my money from Steam. I've been banned/refused/unable to get a business account with: Wise Revolut Monzo Monese Chase Starling Nationwide Halifax Barclays Lloyds RBS It always comes down to, "Where did you get this money from?" "It's coming from games I sell on Steam." "Can we see the store page?" "Sure." "I'm sorry, we can't do business with you at this time." It keeps coming down to a commercial decision purely because I make adult content. What the hell am I supposed to do? I've pretty much exhausted the whole banking system. I just want to be able to be paid for products I've sold.
