I thought I had discovered a bug in the rendering engine that caused some assets to display at twice or even ten times their normal size. But after some back and forth with customer support I learned that, for Cheech and Chong, that is the size of joint they consider "normal."

The Kaleb Horton memorial this week, deftly & entirely organized by the tireless @marieberd.bsky.social, was a great sendoff. A lot of people who couldn't come sent beautiful flowers. His family told me it touched the to see how many people cared. And we had a spread of Porto's pastries like this:

I met a guy who told me he was the Wishmaster so I said my wish was for infinite wishes. He said he didn't actually grant wishes, his job was to know all wishes. There was a period in the 90s when Tim burton was on a heater with his PG-13 goth style and it made you think, is there a latent popular love of goth shit? They play "love will tear us apart" on tv...maybe everyone's a little goth? But if you pushed on that it turned out, no, they still hate goths
