I don't have any answers, although I may pretend to.
They are lil kids when needed. Like Donald Trump's adult kids are "just children" when criticized...
Clearly he's referring to calling folks going to a No Kings protest as "terrorists" and "Hamas" who "hate America". That's the language to which he's referring, right?
Very concerning that Republicans are putting all their election efforts into controlling the actual election (mechanics of voting, who can vote, redistricting) rather than campaigning on ideas, philosophy, etc.

Really think if we persuaded HGTV to give him an hour long home decorating show they'd air each night, he'd step down from the presidency.
Trump: You build what's called a reverse bathtub. And it's not that uncommon, but it is actually a reverse—you, you seal it. The problem is, nature always wins. I know a lot about reverse bathtubs. I've done it, and it's something you only do in emergency

Someone asked what happened to the casual Nazi at the end of WWII. The people who supported the Party

The answer? Suicides and murders. If they weren’t beaten to death or shot in the streets, they killed themselves

There’s a book called Promise Me You’ll Shoot Yourself by Florian Huber about it.
The mass suicides by ordinary citizens in the last days of Nazi Germany
Historian Florian Huber's book examines how civilians took their own lives in greater numbers than military and government officials as the Third Reich collapsed
Soviet Army officers observe the bodies of women who committed
suicide in a Vienna park at the end of World War II.

I don't think the framers of the constitution anticipated that the entire government would just let the president do whatever he wanted.

This guy was a clerk for Justice Gorsuch. Anyone want to argue this is not a racist (and damn stupid) taunt?

the older Rs have taught the young Rs how to shamelessless spew misogyny, racism, anti-semitism. But quoting Charlie Kirk's own words is terrorism.
Hakeem Jeffries posted pictures of two Rep. Members posing with “Young Republicans” who were part of a racist text thread (as reported by Politico).

In response, Mike Davis (well-connected in Trump World & on the Hill) called Jeffries a “house slave” for George Soros - proving Jeffries’ point.
Mike Davis racist smear
Jesus Fucking Christ. Are you this obtuse on purpose???

DC violent crimes rolling over 12 months with data through September as published by the FBI today (September data is probably slightly underreported right now). I don't really see any clear change in the city's pattern post-federal intervention.

Weird that Minnesota is not among the states that have joined this alliance
Map of the U.S.

These states have formed a new public health alliance

Democratic governors launched a coalition to serve as an alternative hub for public health planning in a rebuke to President Donald Trump.

States in alliance, highlighted on map:

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Guam, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island and Washington.
You know what they say: "You can't make a cease fire without shooting a few people".
OH SO YOU CAN SEE BIG DEAL WHAT ABOUT BLIND PEOPLE
Why we can't have nice things...
Sorry, the Downtown Council is just a glorified PAC now.
“Going out and doing festivals is not one of those areas we need to improve,” he said. “Where we do need to improve is safety and advocacy. Where we do need to improve is our long-range plan and making it happen to make Minneapolis the best city that it could possibly be.”
Counterpoint: that sounds pretty fun TBH. But get your shots, kids!

Honestly, it needs to go further than this.

We need to confront the fact that democracy and wealth hoarding cannot coexist. Allowing people to amass the resources of a small state/country allows them to act as such, which is inimical to a shared society of “one person, one vote.”
“No Kings” is great , but we really don't get a functioning democracy back until we internalize, bone deep, the instinctive response to this and every other statement like it: “I don’t care what that rich guy thinks.”

Make it your morning affirmation. Say it ten times at the top of every hour.
