Again, it is a full-blown federal felony crime for anyone in the White House or Executive Office of the President to order tax investigations into anyone.

And it's not just a crime to DO it, it's even a federal crime for an employee not to REPORT such an order to the Treasury Inspector General.
26 U.S. Code § 7217 - Prohibition on executive branch influence over taxpayer audits and other investigations
U.S. Code
Notes

(3)by the Secretary of the Treasury as a consequence of the implementation of a change in tax policy.
(d)Penalty

Unlike Trump, I don't care if someone likes me or not. That will never change the fact that I'm going to fight for them to have health care.

I want MAGA to have health care. I want MAGA to be paid a living wage.
It’s a helluva day when Rand Paul makes sense.

If you’ve recently awoken from a coma, the Speaker of the House is stalling the swearing in of a newly elected member from Arizona because she would be the deciding vote in the discharge petition to release the Epstein files, which would be trouble for his boss.

You’re caught up.

Ps: Welcome back.
Maine, this is your guy!

"We’ve been sending up well-tested people for decades, and the country is in worse straits than it’s ever been. It’s a mess right now, and it’s a mess that is, in my opinion, built specifically by the political class. And it’s time to do something different." - @grahamformaine.bsky.social

Someone needs to remind Leader Jeffries that Johnson is going to lie and gaslight his way through this entire debate, and Jeffries needs to call him out on it EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Call a lie a lie, and present the facts. (I know, it's exhausting.)

But don't sit there and let him lie unchallenged.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries accepted an invitation to appear on C-SPAN together, though a date is not yet finalized, according to a release from C-SPAN.

With his baseless attack on No Kings, Scott Bessent has demonstrated himself to be unfit to sign these documents.

Imagine my surprise when Pat from SNL posted hundreds of vile, anti-Semitic, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, Hitler-loving messages.

Correction: I’m told that it was actually William Hendrix, who worked for Kansas Republican AG Kris Kobach.
One of these lies, his god is going to smite him down with lightning.

Boston looks forward to welcoming the world to our beautiful city, the cradle of liberty and city of champions.
Keep it peaceful, folks. Don’t give Trump and his goons an excuse to crack down further.
All part of his plan in placing Trump in the WH.
