I want to mention that there's a difference between small and large presses. I had indie bookstores turn me down because they only carry Big 5 books, and b/c my publisher doesn't accept returns, my book isn't in bookstores. I've had almost every library turn their nose up at me too.

I couldn't sell water in the desert on credit and I'm too risk averse to spend $$$ on an editor that I probably won't make back, so self publishing is not for me.

Not that I'm a raging success or anything but I left X after November. Anything with a link is throttled unless you pay for premium, so what was the point?

Mastodon has been around for a while and I don't think it's the next big writing platform or anything.

I have looked everywhere for my Camelbak and it's nowhere that makes sense. Meaning it's somewhere that does not make sense, and it won't be found until we move or when my daughter has to go through everything after I die.
