Not that I'm a raging success or anything but I left X after November. Anything with a link is throttled unless you pay for premium, so what was the point?

Mastodon has been around for a while and I don't think it's the next big writing platform or anything.

I have looked everywhere for my Camelbak and it's nowhere that makes sense. Meaning it's somewhere that does not make sense, and it won't be found until we move or when my daughter has to go through everything after I die.

They take an oath of office swearing to defend (and maybe uphold) the constitution. Since that means nothing, and exceptions have been made before, or someone else could do it, this is all a tactic.

Frankly, I don't see what difference releasing the file will make anyway.

I always thought the week or so around Thanksgiving was perfectly reasonable to start doing Christmas stuff. Now it's going out with Halloween. Christmas fatigue is a thing.

I know I'm not supposed to be political on my socials because that's not why my followers are following me and it might alienate readers. It's a botched paraphrase but, "All it takes for evil to flourish is for good people to do nothing." Those words echo in my head a lot these days. /end

I was once an idealistic patriot who signed the blank check to serve my country. Now, just when I think I can't be any more ashamed to be an American, something new happens and I find a new low.

I can only hope that someday there will be justice for the victims of ICE's reign of terror. 1/2
