I'm led to believe Bryce is the son because of the initial note that he's suspended, before he went missing. "Byce suspended. NO CAMP" seems parental.

I noticed the ostrich (get your head out of the sand!) but not the word 'embari', great catch!!

This could be retaliation for investigating after Bryce? Or has this Chief lost his son to a psycho & his wife to another, different 1?

"get your head out of the sand" + an ostrich stamp. Ostriches are (erroneously) known for 'burying their heads in the sand' to ignore predators/concerns instead of fighting or fleeing.

Also, top left of first panel has notes about trying to find Bryce, from Menagerie, & top right corner has a chocolate tiger (Bryce was transmutated into an "embari", or 'human' tiger by Wendel/Wendel's dad) broken/missing its head.
