Rewatching A Serious Man for the 1st time in years to keep up with @blankcheck.bsky.social. I had never noticed that the dentist's office in the parable of the goy's teeth is the optometrist's at the end of the block I lived on from 2002-2006! I caught the bus to grad school in front of it.

I'd argue that Fateh's experience in the legislature and ability to collaborate sets him apart from Frey, and that he hasn't exhibited the pettiness that is Frey's m.o. That Fateh has won endorsements from a range of fellow DFLers from the expected lefties to John Hoffman is to his credit.
