First there are the very practical issues: Israel needs to withdraw, Hamas is obliged to disarm. Will either of those actually happen? No. In that event, does the ceasefire hold? Not likely.

And you're right, that was absolutely the biggest challenge. There were a lot of characters I would have liked to include, but I just couldn't see how to make them even remotely recognizable without hair.

I really think it would work better if it were a fighter in armor rather than a wizard, but I'm intimidated by the idea of having to draw armor. :-p But I might finish it someday!

Honestly, although there are some great movie musicals, often it's better to watch professionally-filmed videos of actors on stage. (The movies often cut songs and rework plots in bad ways). There are great videos of stage productions of "Rent," "Hamilton," "Newsies," "Into The Woods," and others.

Sondheim is the most important musical writer of our lifetimes, and Sweeney is a great Sondheim to start with.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.
