one thing that receives almost no attention is that the only reason he ran for president again is because he had to to avoid prosecution for a litany of crimes, the whole plan was: 1). Take shelter in SCOTUS-granted immunity. 2). Loot.
trump is the president in the sense that he holds the office but he very clearly isn't the president in the sense that he has basically relieved himself of its duties

In the teens’ defense, as someone who worked campaigns for 25 years and dealt with the press at every level, way too much of this does in fact happen! I can give specific examples of each of these things being true from one campaign in one election cycle. Is it typical? No, but far too frequent.

Obviously that’s not a thing, but I would make one observation: if Joe Biden had gotten an abdominal MRI (or CT) they would have found his prostate cancer, maybe even before it metastasized. I have no problem with the President of the United States getting too many lab tests.

This is important. I’m really concerned about how people On Here and beyond are just positioning themselves as Luddites, not as a party with a plan.
Demagoguing about data centers in order to get elected on this issue makes perfect sense. But the forces pushing power prices up are many, & structural, & data centers are only a small piece of the puzzle. When you get elected & then power prices continue rising ... then what?

If you want to know why all this "electricity prices are the new egg prices" stuff makes me nervous, consider that nowhere in this entire NYT story about it does anyone even so much as mention in passing *what Dems plan to do about it*.

I noted a while ago that the President wasn't doing any rallies, which he obviously loves, or loved, to do. A much deeper/more informed look at that phenomenon:

Another example of anti-semitism out in the open in politics.

Oltmann then repeats his call for executions by hanging.

Trump: I'm going to pardon massive drug kingpin Juan Orlando Hernández, bc I don't think former leaders should be held accountable for their crimes.

Also Trump: But I'm going to make thinly sourced claims that Maduro is a drug kingpin so I can rationalize an illegal war based on that claim.

I did the math on 400 tons, which is the number most widely used: the leathal dose of cocaine is around 1.2 grams. Using standard government math (size of drug bust divided by the lethal dose), 400 tons is enough to kill 333 million Americans. Therefore, Joe Biden saved 333 million lives.
President Hernandez was responsible for smuggling 500 TONS of cocaine into the United States! He was the top dog; the Pablo Escobar figure! He wasn’t just “selling drugs in that country.”
Reporter: You have made so clear how you want to keep drugs out of the US—

Trump: Right

Reporter: Can you explain why you would pardon a notorious drug trafficker?

Trump: If somebody sells drugs in that country, that doesn’t mean you arrest the president

This morning he says there’s a no-fly zone, this afternoon he says “don’t read anything into it.” The president is unhinged and needs to be removed.

Condolences to the students at OU who *were* working hard, doing the course work and earning good grades long before the administration there decreed that you only need to say "as the Bible teaches" and be done with it.

I'm sorry your university hates you and hope you can transfer somewhere good.
If I was working at OU, I would just start handing out 100's to every student and stop writing comments.
OU has put the professor here on administrative leave:
