Certainly lots of retirees but there were also waves of Italian immigrants in the mining towns in the Colorado river basin. Columbus Day originated in Denver in 1907 because Denver had a large its population. Colorado does not in fact celebrate Columbus day anymore. It is now Frances X Cabrini Day.

Today in Portland, a fed shooting pepper balls from the roof of the ICE facility was so eager to aim for people’s heads, that after shooting one photographer in the head and another in the upper arm, they accidentally shot a DHS agent in the head. This photo shows the moment of impact;

We had to pay a $253 tariff charge for an LCD display that cost $22, because UPS coded it as “unprocessed Russian aluminum for smelting purposes.”

UPS is not equipped to be a taxing authority and I wonder how they will survive this.

I have a feeling this is driven by RFK’s war on autistic kids. He thinks Tylenol/thimerosal/toxin of the week cause autism and special ed is just propping up big pharma by dealing with the aftereffects and not the “root cause” (whatever that happens to be this week).
