So whats my deal? Im a mask and costume artist and my background mostly comes from LARP. My half-face 'larp masks are the heart of my ideal type of build for active demanding environments. All flexible materials, easy-on easy-off, no latex content and easy to clean.
Hhhhuh... yeah...so if a glove with mochi minky on the fingers is snug enough, you can actually get touchscreen capable use out of them. I stumbled onto this this morning.

Stretch fabric gloves process. You don't sew the fingers individually. You sew through the pinned plate and then cut them free.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't take the pins out while you are sewing.
You leave the pins in. They come out when you're done. It's not like using clips.
I actually don't know why people use clips for anything other than material that should not be pinned.

New desk progres: Sanded,primed and painted that cabinet door with cabinet paint so it's nice and durable. Stain a piece of trim to look kind of like walnut or whatever. And stuck together a little frame for the underside... might be able to assemble today.

Building a new computer desk starting with this 3/4 in thick cabinet door i pulled from the ikea as-is section... since its a computer desk, the texture on the ends won't be an issue... stay tuned.
