I am having my first experience of this right now. I worked on the game for two years and was key to its optimization. The studios keeping everyone laid off in the loop which is nice. I just wish they would have let me keep on optimizing the game rather than my resume.

Yeah like, if an ai tool can produce better auto LOD’s or auto UV’s than the algorithms we currently use i dont see the issue. I make tools all the time at work to speed up artists workflows.

Though it has to be locally ran. No way in hell am i letting artist upload NDA stuff to an ai bros website.

That is just hellishly lazy. It takes only a few minutes to make social media versions of logos like these in illustrator and they would look better. not to mention, not undermine the whole notion of protecting the craft of games making.
