For me, the ability to learn from and occasionally even argue with folks who are knowledgeable and care about a niche topic, and see others who are interested weigh in, all without the risk of IRL fisticuffs is.. maybe not quite, but almost, the whole point of this particular social media format.

Therapist (in training) here. This is very, very, very bad. There are so many ways a therapist can damage a client if they say the wrong thing.

AI bots have proven they will say the wrong things. They can encourage:

* delusions
* harmful relationships
* narcissism
* self-harm and suicide

I asked him which one. He said “Grok— I like the voice it uses, the tone doesn’t talk down to me like ChatGPT’s does.”

He bragged that he had a 4 hour “therapy session” talking to Grok.

Oh no I'm so sorry you have it, sounds rough. I hope you are well-supported and able to rest.

It's my 1st since I became ineligible for vax. I currently feel ok, I only tested before friends were gonna come over "just in case" cos I'd been to see Hunger Games on Stage at the weekend. Now isolating.
