Celebrate every win, no matter how big or small.
Whether it be tying your shoelace, or using said shoelace to garrote someone talking loudly on their mobile in the quiet carriage

And in all seriousness, I would bet money there was a link between those little creative "luxuries" and morale and fighting effectiveness. Esp with cooking and food creativity. Although I bet it's very sparsely documented and is probably consigned to anecdotal evidence

Maybe you didn't come here to be seduced, but a hunk of last night's 11 p.m. pizza crust just fell out of my nightgown.

Yay, congratulations on your system upgrade (I noticed your display name, haha), hope the recovery goes well

Alas, the rice is a myth. Best thing is make sure they're off ASAP, and then put them somewhere that's gently warm, like the airing cupboard. For quite a while.

Yeah, thinking about it, this would _very_ much be me.

"We're not quite sure what happened, sir. We were under heavy mortar fire, then he suddenly charged the enemy trench shouting 'that was my bloody smoker, you bastards' slaughtered the lot of them and pushed their front line back about a mile"

I don't really keep up with the details of her foof-grenades, but wasn't one of them pretty much as bad - some sort of porous stone egg?

Yeah, always like a bit of Skid Row. Saw them at Donny with Maiden, Slayer, WASP, and a couple of others, and they were great. Three rows from the front for Slayer was a great pit, and WASP were also bloody good

Trouble is, that logic requires the possession of a vaguely moral compass, which is why they will never get it

Ohhh, a while ago I was ranting about the Windows shutdown command not requiring privilege escalation by default and several of these "gurus" chirped in saying it wasn't a problem.
Even after pointing out it could dropped into a start-up script, they still couldn't see it.
Cue the block-hammer, LOL

Bloody hell, but unsurprisingly, the Reddit Windows Bros are as big a bunch of idiots as some of the PowerShell "gurus" on here who don't understand the need for privilege escalation for certain commands.

Oh good, ChatGPT is getting "erotica for verified adults" later this year
We made ChatGPT pretty restrictive to make sure we were being careful with mental health issues. We realize this made it less useful/enjoyable to many users who had no mental health problems, but given the seriousness of the issue we wanted to get this right.

Now that we have been able to mitigate the serious mental health issues and have new tools, we are going to be able to safely relax the restrictions in most cases.

In a few weeks, we plan to put out a new version of ChatGPT that allows people to have a personality that behaves more like what people liked about 4o (we hope it will be better!). If you want your ChatGPT to respond in a very human-like way, or use a ton of emoji, or act like a friend, ChatGPT should do it (but only if you want it, not because we are usage-maxxing).

In December, as we roll out age-gating more fully and as part of our “treat adult users like adults” principle, we will allow even more, like erotica for verified adults.
