Before you buy Girl Scout cookies you should know they support transgender girls and reject donations from anti-transgender organizations. Then buy a couple more boxes

"Do you think it was having it lead by a widely hated cardboard actor who's also a sexpest cult leader who's every project in the last decade being record breaking bombs, and sprinkle it with cameos from some nepotistic rich shitheads?"

"No, it was the Tron that was wrong."
Welcome to BlueSky everyone! Its a friendly place. Say hello if you like.

A very warm welcome to @b-j-oshea.bsky.social and @lesbiaudrey.bsky.social, who have joined the project’s creative team and are penning two exciting new stories for the series: Episode Five, ‘In Her Garden’ and Episode Six, ‘Salvation on an Endless Night’! 🥀💎 #DoctorWho #ClaraOswald
Digital art in the style of an old book cover entitled ‘In Her Garden’. A Mire helmet (as seen in ‘The Girl Who Died’) sits in a forest clearing, lit by a shaft of sunlight. It is being taken over by tendrils of blood-red roses. The image is textured to resemble cracked paint on embossed leather. Digital art in the style of an old paperback book cover entitled ‘Salvation on an Endless Night’. An illustration of a clawed monster hand clutches a necklace whose pendant is set with a large, glowing, opaline gemstone. The background is a dark blue night sky scattered with stars.

my friend was carjacked and her car was totaled, and she desperately needs to buy a new car to make it to work and classes to finish her degree! if you are able or if you hate insurance companies, please consider donating and sharing: gofund.me/2396793ec
Graphic showing a young blonde woman and the headline "Help Sammy buy a car after a carjacker totaled..." 2,230 to goal.
Its fun that the Doctor has a completely inconsistent nonsensical tossed salad backstory thats impossible to make sense of with a straight face.

Its really annoying that characters like Ace have the exact same thing where you can't reconcile their appearances and they've died a bazillion times.
Tell me your most unhinged Doctor Who opinion. I mean, if you’re a fan, they’re likely all unhinged anyway.
When developing Academy 27, we had to decide if we should keep the original tech-level of the WARSONG setting where you can travel to Mars easy but smartphones don't exist or just bite the bullet and retcon phones into being so the teenagers felt like teenagers for the reader. We updated. It worked.
Also, this cultural "uncanny valley" gets really weird for science fiction, which is supposed to be about "the future" but was written for a then-contemporary audience (with a then-contemporary understanding of tech/science) so it has two full vectors of cultural shift, running at different speeds

Sometimes there'll be a joke written by someone who's been dead for tens, hundreds of years & i'll stop and think about another human reaching through time to make another human laugh, long after they're gone, and it's so beautiful it makes me well up.
Tell me your most life-affirming literary opinion.

Is this the movie where the alien guns were powered by copper pennies? If so i watched it on TV as a kid in the basement. It always felt like a bit of a fever dream!

weird painting to test out my new inking pen ☀️
watercolor painting- a woman kneels behind a bush, carrying an approximation of an antique musket/rifle (I did not look at reference for this one so the shape is a bit off lol sorry everybody!). She is wearing a wildly impractical but fun outfit- a high cut onepiece with baggy ankle boots, a helmet and a big swan hat/cape.

Christopher Columbus was dragged back to Spain in chains by a crusading knight, convicted of tyranny and immeasurable cruelty, pardoned by Isabella but banned from returning to Hispaniola.

Fuck Columbus.

This may be the greatest post I’ve ever seen on this site.
If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.

It’s been a long road, but our destination is finally in sight. We’re delighted to announce that The Untold Adventures will be launching with its first episode on the 5th of December 2025, marking a decade since the airing of ‘Hell Bent’. 🎸✨ #DoctorWho #ClaraOswald
