Bought a pair of House of Marley earbuds a week ago. I've been intermittently trying to get them to work ever since, but they stubbornly wouldn't connect to any Bluetooth device. Took one last look before I returned them, and discovered two little bits of sticky tape across the recharging terminals.

I remember buying the original Star Wars novelisation and being stunned by it's sheer scale. "They can't do this on film," I thought. "They just can't". But I was wrong.

But to address your question: what if you read the novelisation afterwards? Added nuances and depth.

I read the novelisations of the Star Wars, Empire and Jedi before I saw the films. But would I do that now, if tv tie-in books were still a thing? Is the tv tie-in book now so worthless that I now feel I would be cheating on a movie by learning its plot before seeing the film?

Not taking part in any panels at World Fantasy Convention, happily, but I'll be there! Meetings with authors and publishers, attending book launches, etc! And doubtless running into old chums. The Metropole knows us well, having been the venue for SF and Fantasy conventions since 1979...

Looked at another electric razer. Amazon proudly told me that customers who bought this item also bought multi-packs of pot-noodles. That does not fill me with confidence.

Just looking for an electric razor on Amazon, because I've shaved my beard off. Found an ideal one. Decided to check the reviews. First review was for a calendar. Second review was for drinks coasters. Third review said: "My wife and I bought several of these to go around our dog's grave". Hmm....

She never goes on the internet unless she absolutely has to. I mentioned Zack to her the last time we spoke.

Today, she rang me to ask about him and said "he's everywhere atm! on every channel!" 😆
