Besides everything else wrong with this, I just don’t believe generative AI scales on the consumer side. I just don’t believe people are going to leap at “creating” their own entertainments. Maybe tech bros are frustrated creatives but most people aren’t; the arts are just one part of life.

INFINITE CRISIS 20th anniversary. I love the final page by Geoff and Phil. Superboy-Prime wasn’t always the over-the-top, even comical character he’s sometimes written as. In this story he was meant to be terrifying. And you feel the menace radiating off this page. I’ve never forgotten it.

I thought the last Trump admin was diabolical but they’ve got nothing on this lot. Trump was deeply resentful of how his previous gang stopped him from going as far as he wanted. Cleverly, this time he’s brought in crooks just as bad if not worse. And if anyone rats, they all go down. It’s the mob.
