'K-20: The fiend with 20 faces' (2008)

Shades of V for Vendetta, the Rocketeer, and the Shadow. Good pulpy fun with solid design details and some fun characters.

A tighter edit would have kept the action moving and the energy up. It struggled to keep my attention for the full run time as it was.

'Omni Loop' (2024) Lovely. Took it's time and let the main character take hers too.

Beautiful score throughout, dreamy and thoughtfully shot

It didn't challenge any big expectations but told a super personal story through the magical realism lens of the world our characters live in.
