here are some Wheelbugs I captured over the weekend. Gross little pods but good for the garden!

I have wheelbugs who know my name, I swear to it LOL. They are one of the ways my garden's ecosystem balances itself. It's awesome to know I can share a pic of anyone visiting my garden that I need identified and advice about.

Caterpillars and wheel bugs (old sketch pages). It is almost that time of year when I see lots of wheel bugs out and about. They're huge and so cool!

My sister is afraid to walk in my garden because of its ecosystem. I use nothing but hand-picking, scissors, and predators in there. She swears the wheelbugs know my name. I'm going to train her to use your "semi-feral" phrase rather than the choice words she uses now. 🤣
